Silverback's Heartwarming Moments With His Baby Daughter

Thandie the little baby gorilla is cuddling into Dad's foot. A close-up shot shows her beautiful face. His daughter continues to play around him while he's having a bit of a snooze. Back at dad's leg she cuddles into him and plays with the straw. When dad suddenly awakes, he moves her closer to his face. There Thandie touches her dad on his face. It's so wonderful to see the big Silverback keeping calm and letting his daughter play. Thandie is definitely a daddy's girl! Matadi gets himself a stick and Thandie grabs hold of it with her hands and feet. Matadi watches his daughter while having a nibble on the stick. A sweet moment when Matadi gently strokes her with his finger. Mum Mayani is sitting next to the two. The interaction between the two really gives you happy tears.:-) I was enjoying the moment so much when unfortunately mum decided to take Thandie away from dad, pulling her towards her and then she grabbed the stick as well. The Silverback moves and puts his legs up in the air. Some close-up shots and at the end some more and some more precious moments between Dad and daughter, before mum takes Thandie away again. Hopefully you've enjoyed the series as much as I did making it. Antwerp Zoo was a pleasure to film, even though there was a lot of glare from windows that were everywhere, but that also meant a lot of angles to be able to view the gorillas. Orangutans Love Hopping Along Like Frogs

This will be the only other animal video I filmed while at the Munich Hellabrunn Zoo, the Orangutans. It's a shame I didn't have more time, as they were quite funny and with so many youngsters a joy to watch. A family tradition seems to be passed down as many Orangutans seem to do the same thing. It is hopping like a frog. Well, I can't really describe it any other way. They love pushing the wood wool around and while doing so hoping and falling back down on the wood wool. Gorilla Lope Charging Past His Mum, Staring And Beating His Chest At Her

Gorilla Eldest Causes Clash And Revolt Behaviour Towards Her

The eldest Gorilla Neema from the Münchner Tierpark Hellabrunn gets everyone wound up with her charging and causes a noisy clash in the group when they all have a go at her in return. Gorilla Neema chases after the two blackbacks Okanda and Tano. When Okanda stands still, she keeps on chasing Tano. Okanda standing with the back to us watching Tano and Neema. A bit later enough is enough and they turn the table on her. Tano is the first one that has a go at Neema, slaps her with both hands and shows his teeth. Then Okanda comes running up and gives her a hard slap on her back. Tano runs away, Neema follows Tano and Okanda runs after Neema. Okanda jumps up on the rock, showing his teeth to Neema and starts slapping her. Neema isn't a pushover and fights back, slapping Okanda. That's when the youngest female Nafi comes charging and has a go at Neema as well. The youngest female in the group is quite smitten by Okanda and always wants to play with him and she even seems very protective of him. From the right, Tano comes charging now and wrestles Neema. Okanda comes charging again and slaps her with both hands. As quickly as it started, it stops and when Neema gets her lunch all seems forgotten. She's just happy enjoying her food lying on the rocks. As she is the oldest in the group and there isn't a silverback yet, she's most likely trying to see it as her role to keep the two blackbacks in check which backfired a bit today. Cute Stumbling Baby Gorilla Is Having A Play

Lope's baby brother is having a play and a few funny stumbles. Making the most of its time on its own, while mom, dad and Lope are searching for their food that is scattered around the enclosure. Update 16th Dec 2021. He's all grown up now. 5 years old. Make sure to watch the videos of the family every Monday and Friday new videos.

Gorillas Upright Walk - Brilliant For Carrying Snow - The GoBros

The Storm Arwen has brought some snow and the gorillas couldn't be happier as they love their cold winter snack. The first winter snow video of our gorillas is about their upright walk (Bipedalism). Why get hands and feet cold when you can walk upright to only get your feet cold instead and of course it makes it handy to carry all the snow in his hand. Gorilla Lope the master in upright walks looks funny walking upright anyway but he's even funnier with his huge chunk of snow in his hand. He dismounts the platform with one hand and holds the snow in the other. Mostly they just get the snow and quickly go back inside into the warm to eat it there. He keeps going in and out to get some more. There are roughly 10-15 minutes in between clips when he's eating the snow inside. My mouth would have gone all numb consuming so much. Can you spot when it's Gorilla Shufai, Lope's smaller brother came out to get his share? Oumbi, their father and silverback is coming out ( more from him in the snow in upcoming weeks).
