The GoBros Try To Annoy Dad Oumbie The Silverback

It's a nice winter's day and Oumbie the Silverback is sitting on the hut. Something he only does once in a while. Shufai is being silly below his dad. He jumps up, rolls backwards and jumps up again knocking on the roof where his father sits. I try to zoom out quickly as Shufai moves away and Lope his big brother takes over walking up to the hut. Loper beats his chest. Oumbie his dad just sitting there enjoying the view. No he's not miserable. Gorillas can't smile. Oumbie is ver content up there and just happy watching, closing his eyes hving a little snooze when his kids don't disturb him. Shufai comes back and starts wrestling his big bro. Lope tries to push him off and runs away. Shufai chases after him. A little breather and Oumbi is still up on the roof of the hut. The two boys are back there as well. Grandma Biddy is right at the back. The boys start to wrestle again. Oumbie keeping calm on top of the hut. Shufai climbs on the rope. Lope ids annoying dad, knocking on the roof. Then he goes and has a look at what his brother is doing. Shufai does a one-arm chest beat at him still holding the ribbon. Lope beats his chest now and Oumbie moves around. When he moves into Shufai's direction, his son jumps down to the ground. As Lope is getting bored he knocks on the hut. Shufai starts moving towards Lope, so his brother runs around the hut, but Shufai just looks through the gap and doesn't chase his big brother. Lope comes creeping around from the left and Shufai is going towards him. When they see each other the wrestling starts again. Lope seems to be more annoyed with his brother and keeps trying to push him away. The silverback moves over to the other side, and Shufai slipped a bit on the grass while slapping his brother and jumps up to the rope again. Lope walks past him and beats his chest. Shufai does the same on top of the hut, but as he's right on the edge of the hut, his foot slips off the roof and onto the ribbon. He's a bit wobbly manages to get his balance back before he sits down. Jambo The Hairless Chimp In A Huge Brawl Which Caused More Injuries

Jambo the hairless chimpanzee hasn't got it easy. The chimp from the Twycross Zoo ended up in a huge brawl again, resulting in some more injuries including big cuts. So please be aware that the video shows the injuries. This isn't Jambo's first injury, he has enough battle scars to show. The biggest one losing an ear in a battle. I always thought he lost his ear, fighting with his challenger Kibali, as this is what the educational talks were saying, but it turns out this wasn't true. The actual keepers of the chimps said that it was his mum that did it. Yes, his mum Coco. Who would have thought? Not sure how or why. Maybe just an accident in all the confusion of a fight. Twycross did try to save the ear, as it was the only party ripped at first, by stitching it back on and even using skin glue, but Jambo kept opening it up again, so they just had to let it heal naturally. Which it does quite quickly in Chimpanzees. I'm sure they do give him something for the pain. The bite he received this time looks quite bad and deep, but unfortunately, this is a common thing among chimps and not just captive chimpanzees. Wild chimpanzees just like other animals fight to stay on top and even kill. I'm sure you're aware of lots of wildlife programs that show this behaviour all the time in different types of animals. Jambo got in a fight with a male, when all the rest of the troop joined in and a massive fight started. Some of the troop jump on top of Jambo, biting him and others like the females trying to protect him. The chimp on the left is taking a bite out of Jambo and pulls his leg, you can just see this to the left. You can also see Rosie (the chimp with the pink face) cutting in, to defend Jambo. You'll also see Jambo's Daughter Genet ( brown chimp towards the camera) try to get the others off Jambo as well. As quickly as it started it stopped again and everybody dispersed. Jambo licking his wounds and making his way to the outside. With the cold winter air, his breathing looks like he's having a smoke and a quite moment for himself. Charlotte his half-sister coming to check on him and licking his wounds, but Jambo moves away. Jambo who has alopecia, a form of hair loss was born on the 9th June 1982. He has a daughter named Genet. A brown chimp with a bald back). His mum is Coco was born in 1965. Coco's offspring are Jambo and his half-sister Charlotte. She was born on 28 Sep 1978. Jambo has more siblings at Twycross from his father's side who is William born on the 30th of June 1982, Holly was born on the 27th of December 1982 and Jomar was born on the 28th of December 1990. He started to lose his ear in November 2018, when he had a fight and his mum Coco ripped it. Twycross zoo tried to glue it back on with skin glue, but unfortunately, as time went past he picked on it that much that he lost all of it. Gorilla Lope Being A Pain For His Mum

Happy Birthday to our lovable Gorilla rascal. Gorilla Lope is 9 today (3rd Jan 2022). 

Gorilla Lope from the Twycross Zoo is being a pain in the ..... again with Ozala. Every move his mother makes he follows her. Glancing at her. Ozala tests him, as she sprints back the other way to see if he still follows her and yes he does. So she climbs up to the platform, but a minute later when she climbed back down again, Lope is there again. When she's by the cave, Lope comes running down the slope and beats his chest at her. His mother moves out of the way and then they both go back to the hut. Lope charges around the back, knocking on the hut. Then he hides behind the hut wall and Ozala takes a peak where he is. When she sees him, she moves back and shows how she feels by slamming into the wall with her side. Lope is still staring at the wall, probably through the gaps as he normally does to watch his mum. Ozala moves off when Lope decides to charge one more time.
