via IFTTT These are Lope's last bachelor pad days. Sitting high up the tree. He sits there sucking his thumb and playing with his nipple, a typical Lope thing. Our favourite rascal seems to have been moved now and I'm still trying to get some confirmation of where he's gone to. The rumour is still that he has gone to Zoo du Bassin d'Arcachon in France, but no news from either of the zoos yet. Not being able to go outdoors because of the quarantine must have been frustrating. He's up there grabbing the hose, chewing the end of it, and then giving it a shake. He sticks his finger in the hose to see if there is any food in there. The staff normally does this so they have to use a stick to get it out. This one was all empty and you can see Lope's reaction. When he has his mouth open he watches the tortoises getting fed. It's his main pastime while he's in quarantine. He really needs to be with some company now. As much as I'm going to miss him, I just want him to be happy. His mind needs to be challenged again, not something tortoises can do. He moves along and has a quick bite at the log. He climbs back down to the floor and goes into the other part of the enclosure. He has a quick snack before he retreats to the back to have his snooze.
