Born in the wild, Biddy's actual birthday remains a mystery, but December 19th has become the chosen day to honour her grand existence. Throughout the years, Biddy has been a symbol of strength and grace. Twycross Zoo has been her home, providing a haven where she could thrive and share her life with her family. Biddy's legacy includes two wonderful gorillas – the ever-present Ozala and Mambie, now at the Bioparc Valencia in Spain. As raindrops fall today, we send our warmest wishes to this remarkable Gorilla Lady. May @TwycrossZoo go above and beyond to make her 50th birthday as special as she is.
