via IFTTT Orangutan Mother and grandmother Jazz has both the babies Jim and Joe in her arms when she reaches over the edge to get the leaves out. I'm glad the babies grips are so strong and can hold on to Jazz, but if they do loosen I've seen Jazz making sure they hold on again. They normally eat all parts of the leaves but first, they strip these leaves to the midrib and eat the rest afterwards. As a little kid when playing with these leaves, we did the stripping to the spine as well. Just seemed a fun thing to do. Did you do that? :-) In the middle of her leaf-eating, Jim pops his head up to have a look and then he gets hold of the leaf rib. Both Jim and Joe are chewing on Jazz's leftovers. Jazz gets some more leaves and climbs up to have a look if there is anything interesting there, but there isn't and she climbs back down again. A quick sniff at the door to see if the lone male Benji is on the other side before settling down and yes squeezing her spots again :-). Jim is on her right and Joe is on her left. When she moves off, she repositions Joe with her leg.
