via IFTTT Baby Eyare from the Calgary Zoo in Canada is already pretty independent and not even one year old is already nibbling on solid food. Eyare grabbed herself some green leaves which are nearly as big as her. She has a bit of a nibble, but mostly spits it back out again and playing with them seems much more fun than eating them. You might have noticed some red on the leaves. These are mashed-up fruit leftovers and not blood. You see the little cage, it has got a jar in it and in that glass is the fruit which they have to get out with a stick and some of this transferred to the salad. Mother Gorilla Dossi is picking up her daughter and carrying her on her leg, while Gorilla Kioja is in the back having a good scratch with her leg in the air. Eyare isn't staying long with mum, she plays on the big hammock. She gets a couple more leaves to nibble on and then slips off the hammock. Not to worry, as it wasn't very high.
