via IFTTT Gorilla Baby Eyare, filmed at just under a year old, is already quite independent. She loves playing with everything around her, from covering herself in kale to playing with all the toys. Here are some more glimpses of Baby Gorilla Eyre from my visit to Calgary Zoo. This will be the last video featuring the Calgary Zoo gorillas. Gorilla Baby sees that Mum is eating and knows not to disturb her. She then spots a bunch of kale and, evidently, kale makes a better toy than a snack. She even puts a leaf on her head. Perhaps a little nibble, but "nahh, it's no good, I'll just cover myself instead." Mum Dossi guides her along. She sits down to extract some food from the little cage, while Eyare goes off to play. I did notice Mum earlier; she wasn't too fond of the kale either and tossed it in the air. Eyare finds a box to play with, standing on it. Next, she positions the large lid right in front of the window. It's such a pleasure to see her up close. She even grabs her arm with her foot. Pregnant Gorilla Yewande is in the background. In the next clip, it's back to Mum and then a nibble on some food. After that, there are more clips of playtime. Dad Jasiri takes a look. There's a playful moment on the hammock, and then Eyare has a little run with her mouth open, heading back to Mum. #CalgaryZoo #gorillas #gorillababy Stay connected and never miss a moment!
